Members: Adding a Class to the Website

  1. You will need a paypal premier or business account. The standard personal account will not work. If you don't have a paypal account, go here to sign up.
  2. Send an email to Sarah with the following information.
    • Your name:
    • Your paypal address:
    • Class name:
    • Class date(s):
    • Class time(s):
    • Registration Cost:
      Keep in mind, paypal adds a fee to money received. They charge a fee of 2-3% of the payment, plus $.30. Please keep this in mind when calculating the cost of the class.
    • Number of students allowed:
    • Materials you will supply:
    • Materials people need to bring:
    • Class level: beginner, intermediate, expert, specialized
    • A detailed description of the class
  3. I will try to get your pre-registration information up within 48 hours of your submitting it to me. It will be listed under the 'classes/events' section of the website as well as on the calendar.
  4. You will recieve all online registration payments to your paypal address, so be sure to check it often if you have a class listed on the website. Also, email me if you have reached the maximum number of registrations for the class, whether people have registered via paypal or any other way. I will post on the website when the classes are full.
  5. It would be best to keep a list the names and email addresses of everyone who registered and bring it to the first day of class, so you know who has paid and who hasn't. It is important to keep track of this information because the class is listed on public forums, and anyone can show up. You are responsible for keeping track of this information.
